Department Updates

After nearly two full years of renovations we are now back in our offices in the War Memorial Building located at 120 North State Street in downtown Jackson Mississippi.  While we are not yet at 100% operating capacity we will be soon.  We appreciate your patience as we strive to put everything back into its proper place or find new homs for displaced items.  

You may not be aware but with the remodel of the War Memorial Building we lost a significant amount of space that we had previously occupied for years.  As such we have had to get "creative" with stocking and maintaing our offices.

We will be announcing an open house date very soon.  So please check back here often or on our Facebook page and on our YAPP app for the date and time.

MEMBERSHIP DUES TO INCREASE

During the 104th National Convention in Charlotte North Carolina members voted to increase the National Dues.  As such, all dues will increase in 2025 and all Posts should be considering now if they need to increase their Post dues.  For more information on this subject be sure to read the Department Finance Officer's report on page 6 of the Spring 2024 Mississippi Legion'aire that can be found on this web site.
